A true friend is someone who desires God's purpose to be accomplished in your life. I am amazed at the number of "friendship" which exclude Jesus! Make sure your friendships are rooted in Christ.
Herod and Pilate became friends because of their joint hostility to Jesus. In the process of getting Jesus crucified, their hostility toward each other faded. What a horrible foundation for friendship.
