Paul continues to make crystal clear the futility of works based salvation. Salvation is through faith alone. Jesus is the way. The only way. Only through believing in and confessing Him can one be saved.
Yet Paul also teaches that this faith is compelling. Once someone actually "gets the gospel", they have a desire to tell others the good news. He poses the question: "how will others know if we don't tell them?"
