Paul's bottom line was simple…"devotion to Christ." Maybe he would have liked the whole WWJD campaign. His concern was that we would be lead astray from the "complete and pure devotion to Christ".

We can see this emphasis in both 1and 2 Corinthians. In 1 Corinthians he said, "I want to secure undivided devotion to Christ" and in 2 Corinthians he says, "I fear that the serpent would deceive you like he did Eve by his cunning, and that your minds would be seduced from a complete and pure devotion to Christ."

This is not a difficult concept to grasp. It is a difficult daily choice! It is not that we don't know what Jesus would do, it's just that we either don't want to do it or we would rather do what WE want. When we choose our own way, we are making a foolish choice.
