Most of us live to be served, but true life comes in serving others. My dad always says, "Everyone thinks it's great to serve others until others start treating them as servants!" Our hearts are revealed when others expect us to serve them. God wants us to serve others.
Loving means serving. When we love others, we desire to meet their needs. If we focus on being loved, we will miss the heart of the gospel. The gospel makes servants out of all of us.
