It comes naturally to us to want to be honored. We want to be recognized. We want to win. We want to hear those "words of affirmation." Today's challenge is to be the one who gives honor to others. Be the one who recognizes what others are doing and encourages them with words and actions.
Think about the feelings you have when you have been honored. It feels good doesn't it? Now think about the feeling you get when you truly honor another. That feels good as well. You can't control whether someone will honor you today, but you can determine to build up someone else. It will do your heart good and that IS something you can control.
Plan to honor others today. It's a good plan.
