Mt1

God uses broken people because that is the only kind of people available to be used. We are all broken.

The New Testament opens with a genealogy that is packed with the story of forgiveness and redemption! The four women named, Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Uriah's wife (Bathsheba), would have been the most likely women to "not" be named. Yet, they are the only ones named!

To know all of their stories is to see God's grace. God uses broken people because that is the only kind of person available to be used. From Tamar to Rahab to Ruth to Bathsheba His grace changed and transformed their lives. Not only were these women broken, much of their brokenness was associated with their husbands (or the men who slept with them).

I love the Bible. It is true. God uses broken people. This means God can use me.
