Racial and cultural barriers are not barriers to the Gospel! Jesus has come to save EVERYONE.
It was an established cultural norm that Jews did not talk to Samaritans. It was also taboo for a man to have a discussion with a woman. Much less for a godly Jewish man to have a conversation with a broken and sinful Samaritan woman! Not so for Jesus. He saw all people, regardless of gender, race or economic status, the same…sinner in need of a savior!
Unfortunately, these barriers still exist today. What are the barriers for me? What keeps me from sharing the gospel with someone in need for a savior? I pray there won't be any. Jesus came to tear every barrier down.
