"Father, forgive them." These were the most awesome words spoken on the first "good Friday". While Jesus was being nailed to the cross, he was handing out forgiveness.

Easter is about the hope of salvation. Jesus died for our sins, but even better, He was resurrected to demonstrate His power over sin and death! Those of us who place our faith in Him can have solid hope in life and in death. Jesus conquered sin and the resulting judgement in His righteous death. He conquered death in His resurrection.
