What "anchors" your soul? When all is said and done, what are you putting you hope in? The writer of Hebrews draws attention to the only reality that can be trusted for eternity…Jesus. "We have this hope as an anchor for our lives, safe and secure."

As the storms of life continue to push in on our lives, let them draw us to Jesus. Most things last only for a moment in time. The greatest joys rarely endure for more than a few hours, days or years. The deepest sorrows last for only a few hours, days or years. Hope in Christ endures for eternity. In the end, it is the thing that matters most.

Fix your hope on Jesus. He alone will not disappoint.
