People profess to know God with their mouths, but by their lives they deny Him. Paul warned both Timothy and Titus of people like this! They say one thing and completely do another. He called them "detestable, disobedient and unqualified for any good work."

It is so important that we talk and act in a manner that is consistent. Our true beliefs are seen in our actions. God desires us to both speak and act in a way that bears witness to the reality of Jesus. This is especially true of anyone who desires to be a leader in the church. People are watching and taking note. Our lives matter.

Live one life! Let your words match your daily life. Live a life that is pleasing to Jesus.
