Even Paul, possibly the world's best evangelist was fearful when in came to sharing Christ...yet he did NOT let fear stop him. In fact, he was driven by love which compelled him beyond his fear.
The Corinthians were not an easy group to share with. Nor were they an easy church to lead. We can learn much from Paul's leadership in this book.
The first lesson: Never let fear or insecurity keep you from sharing Christ.
I hate my cowardice with regard to this subject. I wish it often did not rise up within me. You are right to point to Paul's love. It is not that the things which I fear need to be conquered in my never again fearing them as much as I need a love so strong and so central that it overcomes even that of which I am still afraid.
