Paul was not unclear that anyone who considered themselves a christian should live as Jesus lived. Their lives and testimony will give evidence of genuine faith. Many at Corinth were saying one thing and living another. In Paul's mind, as evidenced by this letter, they were simply "lost".
Rarely do I meet a "non-christian". In fact, most people I talk with are convinced that they are "in" when it comes to faith. My gut feeling, as I examine the scriptures, is that death will be a rude awakening for most. What they thought was true was the biggest lie of their life.
Test yourselves today. Faith bears fruit and it is nothing to pretend with.
